Playoffs Round 1 Summary / Final Playoff Round Preview
Playoffs Update - Weeks 14 & 15
The end of Weeks 14 & 15 complete the First Round of the Winner’s and Consolation Brackets with NFL Team strategies and player injuries affecting Fantasy Football League Team player point totals. Surprise losses over the last two weeks by teams such as the Patriots, Chiefs and Rams are examples of how NFL Team opponents are adjusting their defensive strategies to limit passing plays and long scoring drives affecting PPR player point production. Similarly NFL teams offensive shift to running games are influencing FFL Team Owners RB and Flex player roster lineups.
Results of the First Round of the Playoff Brackets are as follows:

Playoffs Begin! Week 1 of Round 1:
A huge congratulations to Faith who clinched the #1 seed of the Fantasy Football Regular Season (I guess Faith wasn't just "Playing for Second" after all 😉). Faith ended the regular season with the same record as Chris (both were an impressive 10-3), but she clinched the tie-breaker via the ESPN Fantasy Football rules.
Faith won the $50 Prize for the Fantasy Regular Season #1 Seed.
Playoffs have begun, and whomever is deemed Champion at the end of this season will also receive a $50 prize. Uncle D and I are also very excited to formally unveil the Mori "Doll Head" Fantasy Football trophy. The Champion will have their name put on the trophy plaque (along with a special Champion video).
Just to refresh everyone's memories, this doll head has been a sacred family heirloom for almost 20 years. When we used to celebrate Christmas at Grandma's, we would always do a White Elephant present exchange. One year, Chris' present was a lovely basket of teas and various herbs, in which he hid the doll head (which he ripped off of one of Jenna's dolls) in the very bottom. By sheer chance, Grandma was the first one to open the gift and was given quite a startle when opening the basket to be greeted by the creepy doll head. I was around 8 at the time (I'm 29 now), and it is still one of the funniest memories of my childhood. It became tradition that whomever ended up with the doll head, would have to hide it in their gift for the next Christmas' White Elephant. And thus the doll head circulated between our families' households for many years. The doll head was passed on through the family from Erica to Jon, who sent it to Uncle D. We found it only fitting to incorporate it into the custom Mori Fantasy Football League Trophy.

Now let's get into the nitty-gritty of the Championship and Consolation Playoffs which begin this week.
Each Bracket Match-up will play for 2 weeks as opposed to the Regular Season 1 week match-ups. The total cumulative points from the 2 weeks will determine the winner of that match-up and who will be moving on to the next winning bracket. Everyone in the Winner's Bracket will be competing to be the overall Champion (Prize), while everyone in the Consolation Ladder will continue to compete to not be last place (Pride).
The first round Playoff Brackets are as follows:

I hope you all have an excellent week!
