Conference 1 and 2 FFL Standing leaders Faith (9-3) and Chris (10-2) maintained 1st Place Standings in their conferences, ahead of Jon (7-5) and Brian (7-5) respectively. Brian had the highest scoring FFL Player, Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (46.7 points) who scored two TDs, ran for 125 yards and caught 11 passes for 112 yards.

Week 13 Preview/Final Week of FFL Regular Season:

Week 13 will be the final week of the FFL Regular Season before the FFL Playoffs begin. At the conclusion of Week 13, we will announce the Prize Winner for the FFL Team ranked as the ESPN #1 Seed for the FFL Regular Season. We will also publish the Matchups for Teams competing during Weeks 14-16 in the brackets for the Championship (Prize) and Consolation (Pride) awards.

Week 11 Summary:

Week 11 ended with some surprising upsets and down-to-the-last-game finishes, as shown below in the Projected vs Final scoring totals:

The Week 11 Monday Night NFL Football game which ended with the LA Rams beating the KC Chiefs 54-51, created PPR point excitement for FFL Teams with Rams and Chiefs players who were matched up in this high scoring, high yardage game.

Conference 1 and 2 FFL Standing leaders Faith (9-2) and Chris (9-2) who were matched up this week, maintained 1st Place Standings in their conferences, ahead of Jon and Brian respectively. In Conference 2, Erica (5-6) who had the highest scoring FFL Player, KC Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (43.5 points), pushed into 3rd Place ahead of Uncle D-feats U who lost to David’s Chopstick-It-To-Ya. Jon’s only player “In Play” on Monday, KC Chief Kicker Harrison Butker, scored 9 FFL points to allow Jon to narrowly win and stay in 2nd Place ahead of Erica.

Week 10 Summary / Week 11 Preview

Week 10 Summary:

Everyone has been very active on the Waiver Wire, picking up new players to replace injured / BYE week players.  Jenna made a very smart move by picking up Packer's RB Aaron Jones who rushed last week for 145 yards w/ 2 TD's (netting a total of 32.2 Fantasy Points)!  However, because everyone has been very smart about adjusting their rosters via Waiver Wire, there are very slim pickings left available on the Waiver Wire.


Week 10 provided some exciting FFL Team scoring matchups that came down to the last NFL Football game on Monday Night, between the NY Giants and SF 49ers. Chris and Jon, who had the only two players left to play, were both narrowly trailing their opponents (7.7 and 10.9 points respectively) at game time. Chris’ RB NY Giants Saquon Barkley scored 14.0 points and Jon’s WR SF 49er George Kittle scored 17.3 points.  These victories helped Chris (8-2) maintain 1st Place in Conference 1 and moved Jon (5-5) up into 2nd Place in Conference 2.

Jon led all FFL Teams with 189.8 points. Faith (9-1) had the highest scoring FFL Player, Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz with 40.5 points.

Road to the Playoffs:

FFL Player point production is becoming as unpredictable as the NFL teams they play for. Surprise performances that have occurred during upsets such as the Tennessee Titans over the New England Patriots and one-game win streaks such as the NY Giants over the SF 49ers may change the dynamics of our Fantasy Football League during the next 3 weeks before the FFL Playoffs begin. Keep an eye on injuries and NFL Team roster adjustments based on NFL Playoff contenders coaches (play or no play) decisions.  For example, there may be scenarios in which an NFL team has already clinched a Playoff Spot.  Thus, regardless if they win or lose the remaining games of the NFL Season their Playoff Ranking will be unchanged.  In this scenario, these NFL Teams are very unlikely to play their key players.  This may affect the final weeks of Fantasy Football as you may have a player who consistently scored well for you, but is being benched.

Uncle D dropped his 1st overall pick Le'Veon Bell last week, which turned out to be the right decision as it was confirmed yesterday that Bell will not be playing at all this year.

Week 9 Summary / Week 10 Preview

Week 9 Summary:

Well with the LA Rams loss in Week 9, there are no more undefeated teams in the National Football League. However, there is still one undefeated team in our Fantasy Football League. Undefeated and in 1st Place, Faith (9-0) also scored the highest FFL points with 189.7 points. Jon (5-4) moved into a tie for 2nd Place (w/ Uncle D) scoring the second highest FFL points with 162.3 points. In Conference 1, Chris (7-2) held on to 1st Place with Brian (5-4) in 2nd place.

Jon also had the FFL top scoring player, Saints WR Michael Thomas who led all FFL players with 39.1 points. Thomas set a Saints franchise record with 211 rushing yards and surprised game watchers with a TD “cell-ebration” removing a cellphone hidden under the goal post reminiscent of Saints WR Joe Horn’s cellphone celebration in 2003.

Week 10 / Getting Closer to The Playoffs:

Weeks 10 through 13 are the remaining weeks of the "Regular Season".  At the end of Week 13, the Standings will determine which teams will advance to the Championship and Consolation Playoff rounds.  The Top 2 Teams from each conference will advance to the Championship, and the remaining Teams will continue to fight for their final Consolation Rank in a Bracket system (Prize and Pride 😀).  

As a side note, Uncle D finally dropped Le'Veon Bell to improve his chances of reaching the Championship Bracket (Uncle D held onto hope that Bell would play, but as of writing it is looking very unlikely Bell will play this season).
